Weight & Balance
This cue is offered in WBCT, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.
This model takes a weight-bolt system, so the weight and balance point can be tuned after purchase. Adding weight toward the butt moves the balance rearward for a more planted feel; less weight shifts it forward for a livelier stroke. The balance point on a finished cue usually sits about 18 to 19 inches from the butt.

Questions about this cue
What joint does the Cuetec CT945 Breach Break Cue use?
It uses a 3/8X14 joint. That means any 3/8X14 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 3/8X14 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.
What shaft diameter is the Cuetec CT945 Breach Break Cue?
This cue ships with a 12.75mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.
Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?
The Cuetec CT945 Breach Break Cue comes with a Carbon Fiber shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.
What is the Cuetec CT945 Breach Break Cue built for?
It is set up as a break cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.
What kind of grip does it have?
The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.
Is Quarter King an authorized Cuetec dealer?
Yes. We are an authorized Cuetec dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.
How fast does it ship, and can I return it?
Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay. Because this one is over $600, a 10% restocking fee applies to the return.

Cuetech Synergy Breach break cue and great customer service.
she is a hard-hitting, properly balanced break cue. I like it light weight, so I removed the weights to a 18 oz. As usual Cuetech has done their home work and the shaft weight, taper and tip, are a superb combination for breaking. Since I make and repair cues for the locals here in VegasI am always referring the cliental to PoolDawgs as having amazing customer service and fair pricing. Ha, I buy too much stuff! Its always a please.

Fantastic Break Stick
The Breach has upped my game! Breaks are solid and consistent. I’m super satisfied I took the plunge and purchased it after having looked at several! I used to throw myself into the break but now the stick does most of the work. Highly recommend!

Best break cue
I truly can’t be happier with the cue. I’ve wanted one for years and it’s truly the cue for me. Love the spread is consistent and effective. And the break feels so much more enjoyable then ever.

Breach
This is something you didn’t know you needed until you used it. An impeccable feel in the hand on contact for a hard power pop break or a controlled cut break. I cannot wait for the many years and many more breaks to come with this cue.

Cuetec Cynergy Breach Break
This cue absolutely destroys with the break. Was using whatever heavy cue stick was at hand and decided to add this to my other Cynergy playing cue and absolutely really like it. Hits hard and takes a little practice if you’re not used to a hard tip.

Pro-level pool cue
My philosophy is get great equipment so you only have yourself to blame for your performance. This is what the pros use. Hard for me to explain why this was better than my first break cue. It just feels better, and, man, does it blast the rack. I got the 19oz, and an extra 1/2 and 1 oz weight. I played with the weights, and think 18. 5 is my fav. My old cue was 20, and always felt it was too heavy.
