Description

The Viking TF-HF is a collaboration between Viking and Two Feathers, and it is named Havasu Falls in respect of the Havasupai people, whose name Viking translates as the people of the blue green water. The cue carries 196 inlays in white premium pearl, turquoise, mirror and black IMA, plus 40 rings in smoke and white premium pearl, aluminum, turquoise and black IMA, for over 230 inlays and rings in total.

The forearm is select birdseye maple with a Viking khaki stain. The joint is high impact white IMA with a flat face and brass insert, paired with a stainless steel Viking 5/16 x 18 quick release pin, and the butt plate is high impact modified acrylic with the Viking logo. The bumper is threaded rubber and the finish is a three coat ultra-violet urethane.

It plays with Viking’s ViKORE performance shaft in hard rock maple, with a 12 to 14 inch pro taper, a Tiger Everest laminated tip and a Viking SUPER ferrule that is capped and threaded onto the shaft. The lifetime warranty includes warpage, and weight can be selected from 18 to 21 ounces, with 19 ounces as the standard.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Viking TF-HF use?

It uses a Viking Quick Release joint. That means any Viking Quick Release shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Viking Quick Release before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Viking TF-HF comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Viking TF-HF built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

Is Quarter King an authorized Viking dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Viking dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay. Because this one is over $600, a 10% restocking fee applies to the return.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a Viking Quick Release joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
